It provides a very smooth and comfortable ride, it is gas efficient, it has blind spot, collision avoidance, and hands free use of the infotainment system. On the con side it takes synthetic oil which is costly. The trunk lid tend to be heavier to open than other cars I have owned.
My car has an automatic start button so I am the winter you are able to heat the car without having to go outside. It also has all wheel drive and rarely slips on ice. The Subaru Legacy is pretty easy to keep the gas mileage down if you know what you are doing. It also has great acceleration.
Safety it is very safe and the mpg is great! It is great in snow and perfect for me, plus my husband does not mind it at all. I like the leather interior and the heated seats, too. The eyesight and cruise control are things I like as well.
Winter reliable. Low maintenance needs. Low costs. Fuel efficient. Reliable. Very easy to learn and to understand what to do for it, easy work can be done by myself. Does not need winter tires whatsoever at all but still does need replacing after every two years.
I like the safety features, the gas mileage, the audio system. I also like how modern the inside of the car looks and the leather seats. I also like the all wheel drive. The seats are very comfortable, too.
The eyesight is a huge plus, it is very comfortable and drives very smoothly. It has blind spot warning as well which is super helpful and it is a smaller car but feels like the perfect vehicle size. I would buy the car again.
Good gas mileage, good acceleration, backup camera, touch screen radio, paddle shifters, lots of trunk space, great interior, has the eyesight feature which tells you when you are in another lane, when the car in front of you moves, and senses when you are too close to anything.
It is size, it is features. It has a touch screen radio, built in Bluetooth, heated seats, and a back up camera. I also like how far I can get with the gas I have in it, and the brand's reputation for safety.
The trunk lid tends to be heavier than other cars I have owned. The car requires synthetic oil which is costly, The tire pressure sensor is very sensitive and tends to warn when the temperature gets very old even though the tires are fully inflated.
It can be frustrating in the winter because the back windshield does not have windshield wipers. It takes a long time for the ice to melt off and can be dangerous not being able to see out the window. It can also use a lot of gas if you are not careful. I occasionally has to refill the tank after just a couple days where my mother's car can last over a week without refilling.
I wish it sat higher as I feel very low to the ground and many times I struggle with my phone and Pandora connections. The standard floor mats were not great, either. I had wanted a heated steering wheel, but I was told that was not available, then after my purchase, I found out it was.
Not very fast. Not very fancy or classy looking. Not the exact luxury interior that I hoped for. A bit short and small and not really the safest vehicle should any kind of impact happen. Hard to find at a new reliable price and a certified refurbished price around this area. Fluids need to be replaced very often.
It is TERRIBLE in the snow despite having all wheel drive, the car is just too light. The tire pressure sensor went out within two weeks of having the car. There is not enough foot room in the front, either, for my 6'2' boyfriend.
I wish the back window had a windshield wiper, that would help in certain weather. I had a few mechanical problems with mine when I bought it which were definite cons, but the dealer fixed them quickly so that ended up being a good outcome.
Had a recall on a part that prevented me from turning off the vehicle which was very irritating. The touch screen can be unresponsive when trying to change stations or anything. I wish the center console was a bit bigger as well. Also the fact that there is no emergency brake is strange to me it just has a little switch that you flick on and it is called a hill holder. Never heard of that before.
I cannot think of a lot of cons for the vehicle. Sometimes I do struggle to get the key out of the institution. Also, whenever I have to change the gas, it costs me $50 because I have to get the premium gas.
The 2016 Subaru Legacy has an average owner rating of 4.58 out of 5 which ranks it #2 of 12 other Midsize Cars.
