Great mileage and very dependable. I have had no problems over the past few years.
Very reliable. No problems in the past few years I've been driving. Great gas mileage. I do a lot of highway driving - just wish that it was a bit heavier. I feel the wind a lot on the highway. But other than that - I love my echo!

That even though is old but it has automatic windows
Like that is spacious and I dislike that the radio thing is old.

I love my Toyota Echo and its amazing Gas mileage and its small compact size but large interior!
I really love the miles per gallon. Its very quiet and compact. Even though it is a very small car it has an unusual amount of space that you wouldn't expect and the trunk is huge! I'm not a huge fan of the way the seat shapes your back it's very arched and it makes it hard to stay comfortable on long trips but other than that it's great i've had no problems with it and i've driven it from p.a to t.n and then to f.l.a and not so much as a sputter and she's still running strong

It does not do well on bad roads at all. It will fall apart
It constantly seems to need service, however the engine is good and runs very well and as such, I have no true complaints

No personal information
I have a 2005 toyota echo electric green 1.5liter 2door coupe automatic transmission. I've had this car for almost two years and put almost 20,000 miles on it with no problems but Ihave had to do some stuff cause it sat for almost 4 years, Iput a new battery and alternator plugs and coil packs new tires complete new exhaust and right now I'm working on the EVAP system but the only thing wrong with it is I'm replacing all the hoses except the plastic ones but just couldn't believe how cheap the parts are, so I'm using it to travel to get my son and I really have a new found love for toyota this is my first one cause I always owned American but not now

Reliability and gas mileage
I bought a 2005 toyota echo and I think I'm the third owner and it sat for a couple years but I put a new battery and alternator and gave it a tune up plugs coils and put new front brakes on it rotors and pads and a complete exhaust and oil change but it had 175,000 now it's almost 190,000 and it's runs perfect and couldn't ask for a better car I needed something to travel to get my son which is 140 miles round trip and I do it twice a week and I only paid$600 but it was a friend he originally wanted 1,200 but o I also it all new tires to but I put probably another$600 in it so I love this car and I would definitely buy another one for sure

It has a sunroof which makes this car more desirable.
I like my car as it is fully loaded in spite of the fact,It's an old model, still has most of the safety features. It has a sunroof which is an added feature. I would have liked my car more if I had purchased it new not second hand.

Fuel efficient and reliable
The Toyota Echo is fuel efficient and reliable. It just keeps running and running for years. On the downside you have to know how to drive a stick shift. The interior has plenty of room, even if you are a tall person . It's a little rough when driving on unpaved roads .

Air conditioned, 40 mile per gallon ECHO sedan for longer commutes to work.
Standard transmission is more economical and easy to use. Stick shift and clutch action are smooth.Small sedan for mileage conscious consumers. Maneuvers well when in tight parking spots. Nice pick up when entering freeways. Air conditioned; and cools very quickly. Heats nicely/engine warms quickly during cold Minnesota winters. Nice radio. Problems - Now has a fuel injection issue. Slight rust, but not embarrassing. Needs repair: Rear window defroster.

Echo sedan white Toyota compact car.
It is a real gas saver, it is just a little old now but drives will. Nice work car. Small for huge family though. It now has a little throbbing sounds when car slows down on gas petals. But it is still runs, well. Do not run hot at all which is good, buy it from a private owner. I would say it is an overall good car to commute back from work or school dependable and saves money. The style is just a little plain. But not ugly just regular. White small car.

Good car want another one when I hit 500,000 KM
Just past 400,000 km 05 hatchback auto. Do alot of highway driving with a toolbox in the back so it's loaded by weight. Has never let me down only changed front wheel bearings right ball joint and brakes and routers 3 times all fairly easy fixes. Probably spent tops 1,000 in all repairs but for 400,000km I'm very happy. Also great on fuel and the get up and go when needing to pass on the highway.

You go a long way with very little gas.
The echo is very functional is a perfect for a two people household. Is smooth to drive, maintenance is what most cars need, check the oil, water etc.. Is what I call a gas economy car. If for some reason you need to take it to the mechanic is not complicate it to fix. It does not need special tools to fix it. And most parts can still be found and even order online directly from the dealer or even o amazon.

Very reliable, economical, and affordable. I don't know why anyone would not want this car.
I bought my toyota echo in 2005. It was the best decision I ever made. It runs great, gets great gas mileage,40 mpg, has only had 1 major problem to fix. It was a water pump. Other than that, just oil changes, replace spark plugs every so often, and just regular maintenance. When, or should I say 'if' I have to get a new car, I'm buying a toyota

Haven't hit 100, 000 miles yet!
My car is older than most, I have had it for 15 years, and it has never let me sit. All I ask of my cars is to have a good radio and heater! It gets great mileage, around 30 miles per gallon. It is a small car and I am a small person, so perfect. I am a dinosaur when it comes to car and I love that my echo has crank windows and no fob to lock my car ( now if only they could bring the bench seat back!) I am sad to say that Toyota no longer makes the echo, but if you come across a used one, snap it up.

Toyota Echo a mediocre car
It's a decent car that gets me from a to b. It's not going to win any prizes for appearance or value but it is decent enough for a reliable car.
