It is comfortable to drive.
It is great on gas. It is also small and easy to maneuver. I dislike where the speedometer is located though since it is not he same as most other cars.

A lot of miles on my car yet runs like it is new.
My vehicle is extremely reliable. It rarely if ever has problems. It also does not take much to fill the tank. I fill up the tank with 35$ it runs smoothly. I have almost 190,000 miles on it and it still has never given me problems. It is small and compact and very comfortable and cute.

Overall of the 2011 Toyota Yaris sedan.
No problems, it's really reliable I drove it from California to Arkansas and she was a beast. Very comfortable. The windows manually roll down and the locks are also manual. She is small so she fits in a lot of spaces normal cars do not. The trunk is very spacious.

Reliable, economical and great gas mileage.
The reliability of this car is great. We have driven it for 8 years and it currently has over 100,000 miles on it but we have only had minor issues. We have had to replace the tires a few times and we had to replace the battery last year. Gas mileage is great.

I love the gas mileage on this car and how often I do not have to stop for gas.
I love the color. I love it's turning radius. I love the size.

It may be small, but it is perfect for me and my purposes. Don't judge my car!
I love the size of my car. It's small and compact, but it has 5 doors and can hold a surprising amount. I love the hatchback and folding seats. It gets good gas mileage and is reliable.

The car is great for those who need to drive a lot and not break the bank.
The car handles well in all weather for its size. However, when any type of accident occurs, the makings of the car are cheap plastic and tend to bend or break in general, but this makes sense for the money paid. Gas mileage is great. I do wish it had a little more space.

This car is eco-friendly and has 6 gears.
It has 6 gears, which helps save energy. It is an eco-friendly car and is very light on the steering wheel. Spacious on the inside. Good small car for squeezing into parking spaces. It can be slow at times though like when going up hills. The gear stick is also very subtle so getting into the right gear can be tricky at first.

It is an economical car great on gas does not really have any highlights.
I have just recently bought it is comfortable, but I do not like the dashboard location at all. I have not had any issues with the car as of yet as I did just recently but. The door locks no longer work automatically or with key on one side really only thing wrong with it so far.

Reliable, comfortable, economy car.
Great mileage, compact, easy to drive, very reliable economic commuter vehicle. I m short 5’3 so it is comfortable for me. CD player did stop working though. The dashboard is in the center which took some getting used to. We've had it for a few years with minor upkeep and maintenance.

It is a very small car, not ideal for tall men.
My Toyota yaris has been a reliable car for 6 years, no major problems. Now that I have a little one I feel a larger car would be more convenient. I get decent gas mileage.

Compact and great on gas mileage.
Love the reliability of a Toyota. I have driven my Yaris across the country multiple times and now have 107,000 miles on it. I love the gas mileage and how it drives. I think I will trade up for another Toyota one day as I like this brand. The car is comfy and the performance is good for a smaller engine. Great first car!

Toyota Yaris 2011 is a great compact car.
The Toyota Yaris is great on gas mileage and handling. It has many compartments for storage and has a decent amount of inside space for it is size. The only downside that I have encountered is the speedometer being located in the center of the dashboard.

Great but some electrical problems.
The size of the car is great. It runs pretty well and gets great gas mileage. I have experienced some electrical problems. Mainly with my car alarm being triggered for no reason. Also the passenger side headlight keeps going out no matter how many times I get it replaced.

Toyota Yaris: the perfect island car.
My car has been very reliable the entire time I have owned it (2 years). It gets good mileage and I haven't had to get anything worked except for regular maintenance. The car is small but feels roomy on the inside. I can fit a stroller plus groceries in the trunk. I see it being best for local travel and not long road trips. I lived in Hawaii with it and the small size and good mileage was perfect for that location.

Small Car, but well worth it.
It's a very reliable vehicle. Bought it used and everything is still in excellent condition. The car may appear small on the outside, but is actually very spacious. I would highly recommend this vehicle to anyone looking to buy a sedan, but doesn't want one that is very large and mini-vanish.

Pros from Owners

likeFilled Emily S.

It is a reliable car with good gas mileage. It is easy to drive because it is rather small, it has a decent amount of trunk space and the radio / stereo system is nice as well. It also has decent enough pick up to the engine and good turning radius.

likeFilled Scott W.

Fuel economy when driving over long distances. Is very safe to drive and provides protection when in an accident. The vehicle handles well under normal driving conditions. The vehicle has an attractive style and design.

likeFilled Emmanuel C.

It is compact and has a good engine. I have put more than 120 thousand miles on it and it still runs pretty good. It has good acceleration and does not consume a lot of gas. It was also cheap to buy as I got it used.

Cons from Owners

dislikeFilled Emily S.

It is small so it does not handle snow or rain very well. I hate that it does not have a center console or somewhere to rest your arm during driving. It kind of feels like you are driving around a tin can sometimes. The doors creak and the engine squeals when it turns on in the winter.

dislikeFilled Scott W.

It is quite small and does not allow me to transport a large group of people. I cannot transport a large item back to my home. It does not provide powerful acceleration speed when driving on the highway.

dislikeFilled Emmanuel C.

It has this seat belt locking mechanism when you accelerate too fast which can hinder your movement. It also has a side gap in the seats, that your phone can fall in easily and you would have to get out of the car to get it back.
