I like that the seats go all the way down and there is lots of space in my car.
I enjoy my vehicle a lot. There are just a few problems, my steering wheel gets stuck a lot and is hard to turn. The back seats also get stuck and do not go down. The engine also takes a minute to start. I have to turn my keys multiple times to get it to start. Other than that I like my car, they may just be because the car is old.

2001 Volvo v70 turbo wagon. Great pickup for grocery getter.
I purchased the vehicle from a friend. At time of purchase the timing belt and turbo needed repair. For about 300 dollars I fixed the car and have had no issues. It is great running car. Body is in great shape. Interior seats have couple tears, but nothing seat covers will not fix. For initial $175 purchase and $300 repair cost, I'd say I definitely got great car for the price.

The only problem ever with this vehicle is that the shocked had to be replaced
Very dependable, comfortable ride. Quiet engine, great on gas mileage. Extremely roomy hatch and plenty of legroom

I love my car and expect it to last at least another 10 years.
My Volvo is old in age but not in miles. The condition of the body and engine is excellent. The color is what I like and it drives just fine for me. I expect for the way I drive - my husband commutes by train-i will own car for many more years to come.

It's a station wagon. It is known for lastling for it's high mileage, so if you like you car to last many years, it's the car for you.
I love that it is a station wagon. These are becoming harder to find.

Comfortable and Stylish Volvo V70
I have a white Volvo V70 with the cream leather seats. I have found that even though it is an older model, it still performs very well. I consistently get complimented on the comfort of car when someone new sees it.

Love everything but the transmission.
Low miles but has hard shifting issues due to transmission issue. Other than this I love my car very comfortable and reliable. I am satisfied with gas mileage and stereo that came from factory I wish Volvo would do a recall on transmission issue. Love this car.

My experience with my 2001 Volvo V70XC
My car is a smooth ride and great shifting and acceleration. However, the longer I own it the more electrical problems I am having with it. It started with setting the driver seat and now its issues with Windows and stereo system.

2001 Volvo Station-wagon only one owner
The gas mileage is okay, could be better and is no where near current cars. It also stalls sometimes between 1 and 2. A bit wide and tricky to maneuver on occasion. Back windshield wiper stopped working after 15 years. The radio gets static whenever the cleaning solution is dispersed on the front windshield.

It has over 225,000 miles and took us on a six week road trip around the US
Our Volvo is just the right size for our family. It gets good gas mileage and is 17 years old and, thanks to some work, is still running great.

IT'S A RELIABLE VEHICLE, IT HAS A GREAT MOTOR THAT RUNS GREAT. IT HAS BUMPER SEATS FOR MY GRAND KIDS. IT HAS LEATHER SEATS AND A GREAT BUILTIN BOOM BOX. THE ONLY THING I DISLIKE ABOUT IT THAT IT IS A WAGON.
IT'S ONE OF THE MOST RELIABLE VEHICLES THAT ONE CAN OWN.

My Volvo v70 is by far the perfect wagon type of vehicle.
I love the way you feel when you get inside the Volvo v70 it's like getting into an airplane cockpit, all the controls are right at your fingertips. Great on gas mileage, comfortable, reliable, I wouldn't trade it for any other vehicle on the market.

I enjoy my car very much. It is an AWD station wagon. So I have plenty of room for all of my things, plus I can take it off road when I need to. The ride is smooth. Volvo's pretty much come standard with a moonroof. It handles fantastically and has decent power. I did recently go a bit too rough on it off roading and had to replace the front drivers side axle, but this is the first time in years that a major issue has come up with it. It is a very reliable car and volvos are known to be one of the safest cars around.
It is an AWD car, not a 4WD car. There is a very big difference between the two

Volvo the Tank - She'll get you where you need to be
Volvo's can survive anything! I'm just a college student that works part time, it's nice because I don't have to worry about my car breaking down because it runs like a tank. I don't put much love into my Volvo but she gets me everywhere. The extra space in the back of the wagon is extra nice for getting larger things around in a small vehicle as well.

2001 Volvo V70: A Dependable Headache
Pros: - It feels like a small tank. It makes me feel just a bit safer than a lighter-weight car. - It has a large capacity gas tank- 21 gallons! So I can get a lot of miles out of a tank of gas. - It has a large cargo area. Groceries, camping, landfill hauls... There isn't much I can't carry. Cons: - It feels like a small tank so it takes more time to increase speed and to slow down. - It has a lot of small finicky electronic issues. For example, I can only change the seat position within the first 45 seconds after unlocking the car (must have been locked for a full minute). - It gets VERY unhappy in idle; makes lots of concerning lurches and rumbles. - I can only use premium gas and from high-end brands (Chevron, Shell, 76) or else it runs poorly. So, this makes it more expensive to own. - Because Volvo is an imported European car, every part and manual and service costs more than a domestic, easily available brand. Some mechanics won't even touch a Volvo; those that will charge you more to work on it. Overall, it's a solid and powerful wagon, but it's finicky and costly to own, maintain, and repair. A lot of headaches. I won't be owning another European car in the future.

It is a car full of safety features.
I like that my Volvo V70 is a very safe car. It weighs about 3600 pounds, and basically if anyone hits it, their car will take the worst of the impact. My car has loads of airbags and safety features as well. While it is not great on gas, it is safe and roomy, and that is what I desire most in a vehicle.
