I love my Volvo's safety, comfort, and power. My only complaint is the turning radius, but that is because it has a long wheel base.
The Volvo is extremely reliable and if well-maintained will be driveable for several hundred thousand miles.

It is super sturdy and well made.
I love my car because it is durable and safe. The sound system is good, although could be better. The interior is easy to clean. Maintenance is easy. No complaints.

Thoughts on Volvo'great ride, limited passenger space. Great.
Volvo is comfortable smooth riding vehicle, quiet ride, terrible turning radius, expensive to fix, unusual engine design 'battery is in trunk. Great sound system. Not enough air conditioning vents in back seat for passengers. Back seat limited leg room.

V70 Grill
Alayna M, actually, you're referring to the AWD xc70 [xc="cross-country"]. A grill was one of the more popular options of that model year which, unfortunately, was discontinued in 2011 as a cost-saving measure. The downside is that from 2011 on, the xc's tend to overheat in deep woods off-road competitions due to an accumulation of debris on the front of the unprotected radiator. However, there are aftermarket adapter kits available that will allow grills from 2006-2010 xc70s and v70s to be fitted to 2011-and-later xc70s. Done properly, they look quite nice and function well.

V70 Length
Maya M., That's a design flaw that has actually gotten very little attention; but if enough people complain, a recall could be issued to make them shorter. Contact the CPSC for more details.

Turning Radius, Emissions
Catherine R., I agree (seriously; no kidding). This is one of my few peeves concerning the 2007 v70. It's not terribly noticeable on the street, where tight turns are generally not needed; but in parking areas, particularly multi-level public parking garages often found in the city, the wide turning radius makes itself known. I also agree with you concerning the power, safety, and comfort. High marks in those areas. Two things I have had to address more than once: (1) the headliner has come loose in places over time, get it fixed, and it comes down again in a year or two. It appears to be some type of suede, and I had the same problems with the same kind of material in a '79 Malibu. (2) Emissions. My state conducts regular emissions testing, and if the car fails, you have only a few weeks to correct the problem. My v70 has failed twice since I have owned it. Once was for a failing EVAP leak detector pump. Currently, the reason for my failing emissions test is yet to be determined. (I'm getting a P0442 Diagnostic Trouble Code.) By many accounts, the culprit is often a leaky "J" hose, when the hose is a flexible type; but I have a rigid type that usually only leaks if it sustains some kind of impact that cracks it. Mine is intact, so the search goes on. I'll first look at the gas cap seal, and then the purge valve, which is fairly easy to access under the hood near the intake manifold. If it's not that, I'll have to dig deeper and look at the canister vent valve under the car near the gas tank, or the leak detector pump again. Somebody else replaced the pump for me in 2013(?), so I don't personally know where it's located; but I remember the mechanic told me it's not easy to get to.

My Volvo is the most reliable car I've driven in. Although the AC is garbage, the brakes never seemed to get fixed and the radio doesn't always work, I always feel safe driving my car.
It is very long, and I may hit things. It's happened before.

Repairs can be expensive, when they arise, which is fortunately rare.
It is a fine vehicle, with many nice features. It has been quite reliable, except for a few small problems related to normal usage. The engine produces ample power and acceleration. The interior is roomy and comfortable. The handling is responsive and confidence inspiring.

High quality and dependable. Has low mileage and in very good condition almost new.
It is dependable. A small station wagon type. Has low mileage so will be around for a long time.

It is very sensitive even though it looks amazing.
I love my car. I have a grill on the front and it is 4-wheel drive. Extremely reliable.
