Vehicle History strives to be the most trusted and comprehensive used vehicle research site on the internet. We research hundreds of models each year to help you gain confidence about one of your largest purchase decisions. Vehicle History was founded in 2015 and is independently owned. This means we will never recommend a vehicle which we do not truly believe is great, and we will never embellish or prioritize more favorable information about a car to make it seem better than it is.
Many of our reviews take weeks of research from a team with decades of industry knowledge. We not only rely on our own experience, but also gather ratings and insights from other review sites, owner feedback, industry experts, vehicle associations, subject-matter experts, and many other reputable sources we find through our research.
Our team works hard to distill down the most important information that buyers really care about, especially when a vehicle has been on the road for several years. The automotive industry is littered with sophisticated marketing, outdated information, confusing terminology, and rapidly evolving technology. We aim to cut through the clutter to make our information approachable and easy to understand.
Our work is supported through revenue generated from the banner advertising you see throughout our site. We are not incentivized to recommend any particular model over another, and we do not receive any commissions for the sale of any vehicles or accessories that we write about.
The most important thing to us is reader trust. If we do not take our recommendations and quality of information seriously, our readers won’t come back to our site.
