Most reliable vehicle around!
It is so reliable! We haven't really had any problems with our vehicle at all. Even in the -30 degree winters we have up here, it still starts and runs like a dream. It is compact on the outside, but the inside is surprisingly roomy and fits both me and my husband comfortably, though we are both about 6 feet tall. The only reason I would trade this vehicle in is to get something with 4 wheel drive and more seating.

Great car, sport engine has great pick up speed for moving around fast.
The sport engine is really fast. The 0-x mph is very quick. Sleek body. Large trunk space, back seats fold down. Sunroof is nice in the summer, wide interior space and back seats are heated! Features are easy enough to understand, no back wiper is the only downside of the vehicle.

Perfect car for beginner drivers.
The car is great on gas. That is probably my favorite thing about it. It is a great car for quick road trips. Secondly, it is really spacious and comfortable. I like a car that is not too over the top in presentation, but still looks really nice. It is an overall solid car.

Very good and very nice looking car for the price.
It burns a lot of oil. It rides well. It is comfortable and has a huge trunk. Bluetooth is hard to hear when going down the interstate. I haven't had any issue. One issue is if the battery dies there is no way to unlock your car except the trunk. My car has a spare tire but not all Kias do.

My 2017 Kia optima is amazing, has a lot of awesome features, such as the psi on tires, and you also have the ability to set up on how you want to see many miles you are going digitally instead of watching the odometer itself. Not to mention its good gas saver.

Best car ever with the most features.
My car has so many great features and is great on gas! The performance is amazing and it drives super smooth. I love the sunroof, heated seats and steering wheel, leather seats and built in shades in the backseat. It is a great price for how many features the car has!

So it takes some getting use to. You feel pretty low to the ground but overall a pretty decent car and I would purchase another Kia in the future.

An interesting detail about my car is that it has two sunroofs.
I love my car! It drives so smooth, it is great on gas, I love the two sunroofs that it has. It also has an automatic brake feature. It is push to start, great on miles and can go into sport mode. Kia is a great car to have and drive. You will not be disappointed. I rate a Kia car an 9.

Overall very happy with my 2017Malibu. Great mileage, acceleration, leather interior, Bose surround sound stereo, all the trim I could want and more. Disappointed the black trim on doors is lifting and will eventually peel away. Very unhappy about the Shift to Park issue. Replaced the part in July 2020 and again July 2021 for a total cost of $1200. This is a safety issue if the car won't park. RECALL THIS ISSUE CHEVROLET. Chevrolet is aware of the problem as they have issued a notification to the dealerships.

Shift to park alert comes on even when it's already in park.I have been researching the problem and it seems to be very common. If the alert doesn't shut off, it will drain the battery 🙄 There needs to be a recall on this situation!

Car itself is decent but overall it has many problems. The transmission growling, shifts hard at times, high rpms before shifting, motor vibrates, blow by coming from motor, remote key fob half the time detects, auto stop is a bad cause, it shuts off & restarts causing things to wear out faster inside motor, inside rear interior headliner constantly wet leaking from somewhere in back, dash & radio blacks out while going down the road, vibrates going down the road, decent mpg, mostly comfortable under (6’ 2”), Chevrolet just should of just took more time engineering the car mechanically before putting it out.

I really do not have no issue with my car I been having it for about 6 months now is well take care of. What I love about this vehicle is that when your driving it feels so smooth you kind of do not feel the road. I love how it touch screen and you can control everything from the steering wheel and easy to connect to Bluetooth and also comes with free Wi-Fi. I love everything it comes with it.

There is a sun roof in ours and that is super nice.
I really like how it is remote start, no key. The back up camera is really nice when in a tight spot and cannot see everything around you. The backseat fits 2 car seats and a booster seat amazingly. The kids are still about to move a bit. Everything about it says that it is a family car. We love it!

Car problems on a 2017 Chevy Malibu.
My car and me have a love hate relationship, the problems my car have are not very big and or important just annoying because no one wants car problems lol. I had to replace the battery to my car along with the alternator, the battery in my key fob dies often.

I have had a few issues with this car already and I have only had it for about a month! I overall love most of the features and the vehicle performance but I have noticed there are some technological glitches. I have had my electric speedometer stop working once, as well as my radio/aux would not work for a day. Both issues have resolved themselves after sitting off for a night.

Ride very smoothly and at 64,000 miles have had very problems with the car... The automatic stop feature was hard to get used to..Gas mileage has been great and features like hands off texting and calling is great..Seats are comfortable and very few blind spots to contend with... Rear camera is excellent in this car and plenty of space for my family..With pull down back seats extending into large trunk a plus.

2017 kia optima, overall great family vehicle.
Driving, wheel axle issue. Other than that has been great. Has taken us across the country and back, very reliable throughout the trip and over the last three years. Overall, I feel the main problem is that everything started going out at the same time, the battery, tires, brakes, all in the same month have gone out. This is around the time wheel started jumping.

Great car. Have owned and operated it for 2 1/2 years. There have been no factory recalls nor repairs required other than routine maintenance. Only minor issue is a slight sticking of steering from middle position which may be cold weather related. However this is very subtle and not a problem or concern. Great value for the purchase price. Pros. Very reliable, comfortable, dependable SUV. Ideal size, towing ability for my needs. I like 7 seating capacity and v6 engine. Decent highway mpg. Cons. Small third row seat.

Unhappy Malibu owner.
Few months ago had to have work done on back tire. Would not pass inspection so it had to be repaired.Had 10000 miles. Now few months later having trouble with remotes. Car wouldn’t lock. Then wouldn’t start. Then was ok for day. Again wouldn’t start and lock.Totally unhappy with this vehicle. I don’t believe back tire problem was due to potholes. Malibu at least this 2017 Was not a good car. Don’t know about my future with Buying another one.

Spend less than 50 bucks a month on gas!
I had an issue with an improperly installed brake pad that cause my traction control and cruise control sensors to malfunction. Other than that easy fix my car has been wonderful. Love the gas mileage, I am averaging 27-28 miles per gallon! Occasionally the apple pairing does not work on my touch screen but this is not a large concern for me.

Needs more maintenance than older vehicles. Due to not having a gas cap the check engine came off because the plastic ring in the hole where you put gas fell off and showed an emissions problem. It fills up with less money which is good but also goes through gas quickly when used as daily driver.

I’ve had this car 4months now and since the day I drove it off the lot, the gas gauge needle goes down so fast. I’ve had it go down 1/8th of a tank only driving 5 miles. Brought to dealer many times and they tell me time and time again there’s nothing wrong with it. Going down 1/8th of a tank in 5 miles is not normal. From yellow light, I can only put 8 gallons in the tank before the tank cuts off. I never get more than 220 miles of range on a full tank.

There have been a couple of recalls on the vehicle. I have had a couple of things wrong with the car, my car stopped running at 15k total miles and was out of commission for 5 weeks with a rental car. They initially thought my transmission went out.

This car has a great amount of room for a sedan, the back seat is spacious and there is a very large trunk. The mileage is great, I only fill up once a week with commuting to a job 5 days a week and about 50 miles round trip. It runs very smoothly as well.

The back windshield is not as slanted as it should be so in harder rainstorms it is a bit hard to see out of. The windshield wipers also do not wipe very well, there are often streaks so sometimes it can be hard to see.

I am 5'4' so I am not extremely short but when I go to close the door I really have to stretch to reach the door handle. I do not like this at all. I realize that there are many factors that go into the decision on how far a door should open but to me this is a big con. I really feel for anyone under 5'4'.

Often times the car does not register that it is in Park. I believe it is some electronic error but am not sure. You shift the gear into park, go to turn of the vehicle and are greeted with an alarm that tells you to Shift to park. Even though you've already done so and have the emergency break in use as well. Takes a few times of turning the car on and off before it registers that it is in fact in park, which is very frustrating. Does not happen all the time, but when it does it tends to continue happening that day.
