The car is reliable and safe. I know it is going to last without a lot of high maintenance costs. The price was good. I think the car handles better than other similar cars (I hated test driving a Chevy Cruze).
It is not flashy or a car that anyone is going to envy. The gas mileage is just ok. Sometimes the Bluetooth cuts out. Sometimes the menu for radio stations acts funny. Those are really only minor annoyances though.
This is a good vehicle. I have had it for a year and we have not had to have any work on it other than normal routine stuff. It is a great family car or work car. To be a car it had quite a bit of space in it and the trunk is very roomy.
The only issue with the car is the coloring of the seat. The seats are very hard to keep clean. I kind of wish the seat were leather because at least they could be wiped clean. Other than that there has been no issues.
It is very affordable, gets great gas mileage, looks sporty, and also does not require extra maintenance. You will not have any issues when driving it around. It also handles poor weather very well. It is also a great price point!
The vehicle truly does not have any big cons to it. I would say that for today's tech-savvy world it does not come with as many bells and whistles as other cars. The overall cabin and trunk space are also a little on the small side as it is not a luxury sedan. The gas tank can be seen as small in capacity from others.
Good gas mileage. I just purchased this car so the best thing about the vehicle to me is the gas mileage it only takes about $26 to fill up. The gas last me about a week or more for in town travel. Road mileage a tank of gas took me out of town, around that town and almost back home.
I do not like the interior. Holds stains especially water stains. This is a very basic model. Does not have enough charging ports. Does not have separate temperature controls for the passenger. Slow take off when trying to pick up speed.
The car does great in the snow. Gives you peace of mind when traveling in poor weather. It gets great gas mileage when traveling on the freeway and the interior is very roomy and very comfortable. Can easily fit 4 adults comfortably.
The cost of maintenance is fairly high. This may be due to the fact it's a newer car. It uses a full synthetic oil which costs more for oil changes but it can go longer between changes. Some of the other regular maintenance is hard to do by yourself.
I like the quality of protection and service that all Subarus have to offer. The Subaru Impreza was my first choice of car because of the comfort that is has to offer. The seats are very comfortable and easy to adjust. Additionally it was easy to customize my car from the heated seats to the color of the interior to the sunroof. The limited version of the car offered all the protection needs I felt were necessary in a car. The eyesight was a great addition as well as the android auto capabilities. The only downside is that android auto tends to occasionally disconnect on its own while in the middle of use.
There is no memory for the seat movements. It is hard to adjust the seat every time after my husband has driven the car. The fact that the android auto randomly disconnects itself it really annoying.
All wheel drive, reputation of Subaru, I feel safe and secure in the vehicle, BT technology, USB audio plug-in, back-up camera, rear view mirror night time mode, hatchback space, car seat anchors, heated seats, cruise control.
Not enough cargo space for my stroller or anything else, cloth interior, no heated steering wheel, no fog lights, beige interior, no cargo racks on top of the car, no navigation system, Starlink is very confusing.
The all wheel drive and abs system have been incredible through Michigan winters and the safety speaks for itself. I slid into the median wall of a freeway after catching bf a snow drift and the car only suffered a minor crack in the front bumper, purely cosmetic. I have gone 60,000 miles in 3 years and have needed no major work done, just basic maintenance like oil changes and cabin/air filter. All recalls were dealt with in a timely and professional manner. Would absolutely recommend!
The only cons are I would have liked remote start and a sunroof. The car also does not have a rear windshield wiper which would be very helpful. The sun visors are very thick so it is hard to clip a garage door opener to it unless you use the little sunglasses strap. Otherwise I haven't had any issues!
