Lots of cargo space with an optional 3rd row, has many enhanced safety features like lane assistance and beeps when I get too close to a car in front of me. Has seat warmers, AWD, nice sleek design. Captains chairs in 2nd row with a tray table.
No parking assist. There is not a hands free way to open the back trunk. No steering wheel warmer and no ambient lighting throughout. No entertainment system like a DVD player for my child to watch programs while we travel.
The Toyota Highlander is a reasonable price compared to many other SUVs on the market. I picked this car because it is the few on the market that has bucket seats in the second row. My other favorite parts are that there are no carpeted floors and I like the moonroof.
I do not like a lot of things in this car (and compared to my prior GMC's). The first is that there is no monitor of the tire pressure in each tire. When get a low tire pressure light, you have no idea which tire is the problem. The gas mileage is not great (but many SUVs are not either). The third row seems to be much smaller than my GMC. I do not like the way the transmission is sometimes. Feels a little jerky.
Great on saving gas, the look is very nice compared to previous years, leather seats, comfort, how much power it has, and best of all how much room it has with the 3rd row seats when needed, and very roomy in general.
I cannot think of any cons for this vehicle. I have only had it a year and a half, and so far no big problems, except for the radio display panel wouldn't work right after I bought it, buy Toyota took care of it right away.
PROS: 360 camera. Big screen. GPS. Bluetooth. XM Radio. Heated seats and steering wheel. Air conditioned seats. Window shades. Easy to drive and park. Third row. Captain Seats. Safety Sense. Predictive cruise control.
Super small third row. Really only children can fit in it. GPS works but can be frustrating in the city and is not as good as phone GPS. Honestly past those two things I do not really have anything else bad to say. I really love my car and it fits our family needs.
The car is spacious and comfortable. There is tons of seating or storage space depending on your needs. It has 4 wheel drive to pull heavy loads or handle bad weather. The seats are comfortable and the interior looks nice and has many available features like heated seats.
The gas mileage is not great on a vehicle of this size and the rear liftgate is super hard to close which often drains the battery when it is not closed all of the way. Otherwise, we have had no issues with the vehicle.
It has lots of room. We carried 7 people to the airport along luggage. People often stop us and tell us what a beautiful vehicle. Drove to New York. Great mileage. Cost us less than 200.00 And airfare would have been over 800.00 Plus would have had to rent a car. All luggage plus electric roasters and lots of food fit comfortably in the vehicle. Great service too.
I can only think of one thing and that is the price of the vehicle. How do you expect me to give lots of cons when I am unable to think of any. I upgraded by buying weathertech floor mats and cargo mats and were expensive so would have been nice if they were included.
The Pros are comfort in any seat you choose to sit in. Plenty of legroom. The. Back has plenty of room for a family of 5 to travel with all of their luggage. We travel with 2 car seats and do not feel cramped at all. It is also extremely easy to load the car seats in the car.
There are not a lot of cons to this SUV. The only one that really comes to mind is not enough cup holders. I wish both captain seats in the middle you could push forward. As of now only the one behind the passenger seats leans forward to access the third row.
It is safe, it is roomy, 3 row seating. It is a v6 so it has get up and go. Good pricing. Definitely worth the money. It looks sharp and drives great. Handles amazing in the rain ice and snow. It was definitely a good purchase. Do not want to drive anything else.
I cannot think of any except it didn't come I the color I wanted. I cannot think of anything so I really do not know what to type here. You cannot go wrong with Chevrolet's. It is great all the way around. I do not have any cons.
