Very reliable vehicle that is fun to drive, is very attractive looking, loaded with lots of on screen technology, and carries two years of free maintenance. The customer service is also very good, which makes this car more enjoyable.
Somewhat slow pick up when stepping on the gas. Also, adjustable and leather seats should be standard. Other than what I have mentioned, I fully enjoy driving and riding in this car. But I do believe that there should be more choice in color options.
The amount of electronic information and controls is the best I have ever seen; the gas mileage is awesome and the ability to use four different driving styles is impressive; the new 180 degree mirror is also nice to have, along with a quality backup camera.
None - I love this vehicle. It drives smoothly, gets great gas mileage, has comfortable seats, looks great in the two tone paint style and can use both electric and gas engines to provide maximum power.
Great gas mileage in an SUV, sporty package with 5 person seating, like the body style, we travel with our family carrying four people on long trips; this vehicle offers a great value for what you get with the package deal.
The vehicle does not come with an all inclusive package that has all features we want in a SUV; this vehicle does not have heated seats which should be standard on a new SUV; it should also have automatic wipers with the SUV as part of the standard package.
I have had a RAV4 for several years. I have been leasing them since 2014. I LOVE the RAV4 and it is perfect for my lifestyle. That being said, I have leased a 2014 and a 2017 RAV4 before this one. My review is in comparison to improvements in this model vs the previous ones I have had. Better fuel mileage, more space than previous models, overall improved look, CarPlay capabilities, safety features. It read the road signs and tell you what the speed limit is, which is pretty neat. I am happy with this car, and definitely wish I would have bought it instead of leasing.
It's bigger than the previous models, but there are still times when I wish that I had more space for luggage. I also sometimes wish it could pull a trailer and had 4WD. It really does suit all of my needs though. Definitely super happy with my choice. Its sporty, young, and fun, which matches me well.
It is very spacious and offers a good and controlled driver with all wheel drive. The safety features on the car are really good there is an automated emergency brake system and a system that lets you when you diverge from a lane and everything, which is very helpful.
Sometimes the rear door gets stuck and does not open, but that is an easy fix. It does not let you open the trunk with the key fob or the inside button. When that happens I have had to go to the dealerships or just make sure the hold button is in the right position.
The forester is AWD so good in snowy and rainy conditions. It is also good on gas. The safety ratings are also good. Design is nice and simple and the ride is nice and smooth. Sound system is good. Panoramic sunroof is a nice feature.
Because of Subaru's quality there was no negotiation room on the purchase price. The helpful features such as brake assist are annoying at times. If you do not want the eco mode on you have to turn it off EVERY TIME you get in the car.
It has 4 wheel drive. A clear back up camera. Durable Leather seats. The Sunroof is very nice. I also really love the smooth drivetrain. It is a great car for dogs and for my new child. A great family friendly car!
The cons of the vehicle are that sometimes it is hard to clean. Other than that this vehicle does not have any other cons that I can think of. I have had it for a year and it has been a great vehicle for our family.
It really is an upgrade from Subaru's lineup even just a few years ago. The Forester is the perfect size--not too big, but not too small, with a little extra height to make things easier--and the perfect amount of power to deal with weather conditions in all four seasons. Your commute will be comfy because this trim comes with every upgrade that you didn't think you needed but then immediately could no longer live without. I use the app on an almost daily basis to turn my car on remotely and set the climate controls to the perfect temperature. It has all of the bells and whistles that you actually need and use.
The sensors are temperamental, and you never know if the automatic braking is going to have a bad day and slam on the breaks on the highway because a leaf looked at it funny. Sometimes, all of the electronic systems make it nearly impossible to diagnose or treat a straightforward problem. My battery has already died once in the first three months of ownership. I cannot imagine that these electronic systems and sensors are going to age well.
