Good car. Not great on gas. Very expensive. But also very fun and cool car. I love going on road trips with the top down, makes it more fun and exciting. Not many cons because overall it is a really good car.
The cons would be that it is not great on gas. It is very expensive to afford. Sometimes the battery just dies out of nowhere. The gas is better on the interstate then the back roads. Saves more gas that way. I would recommend this car though.
My pros for purchasing my 2019 VW beetle: 1) I traded in a VW beetle only because the 2019 was the last year of making VW beetle. I did not have any problems with my previous car. 2) I love the style and look. No one can mistake the look of a beetle. 3) up to date functions: driver assistance safety features, Bluetooth, fender speakers, app-connect, touchscreen navigation system, leather seats, and VW car-net security.
The ride is not as smooth as my last VW beetle. The noise level when the top is closed is just as loud or louder with the top is open. Very limited backseat space, as a matter of fact, I never drive my car if there is more than two riding with me. I would consider if you have children or if you carpool to work with more than one other person. The cargo space is very limited too.
The pros of buying this vehicle is how small the car is so you practically fit anywhere which is amazing. Another one is how easy it is to find parts it can be pricey but one thing about new cars compared to older ones is that their parts are easier to find.
The cons however, are the price it was extremely expensive I am still paying it off to this day but overall pretty good. Another issue is that the car does not last that long it is a beautiful car but you should go for worth instead of design.
It has of cargo space for its size. Very comfy and with lots of 'luxury' bits. It has a lot of pep for a wagon that does not have a turbo charger. Very comfortable for driving long distances. I like that, while I consider it to be a luxury, or at least almost-luxury, car, it takes basic gas.
The steering wheel has too many button it. Its' gas mileage is not great in the city. The CD player is in the glove box for some reason. The dashboard screen allows access to multiple functions but is also clunky to use.
