The oil capacity and F-TYPEor the 2009 Toyota Tacoma will depend on the engine that You've got. The 2.7 L 4Cylinder engine has A6.1 quart capacity with the filter. The 4.0 L V6 witH2WD iS4.8 quarts with the filter and with 4WD it'S5.2 quarts. The viscosity also differs between the two engine and You'll want to use either 5W-20 or 0W-20 for the 4Cylinder and 5W-30 for the V6. When choosing an oil You should try to make sure it's an ILSAC multigrade oil. If You're unsure of which brand to choose You can always go with the genuine Toyota engine oil to make things easier. It may be slightly more expensive than other types You can find though. -
