2013 Nissan Murano: What is the oil type and capacity?

The 2013 Nissan Murano uses SAE 5W-30 motor oil, and will hold 4.8 US quarts. To keep Your car in good shape, Nissan recommends that You have Your oil changed every 5,000 miles or so. Even when You dont change it, You should check Your oil level about once a month. All You need to do to check it is pop the hood of Your car by pulling the lever in the cabin, on the drivers side. Youll find the dipstick in the front left of the engine. Pull it out and clean it off with a shop rag or clean, lint-free towel. Put it back in, pull it out, and check the level. If the oil is below the fill line, You need to add oil. If its above the full line, You need to drain some. Always be sure to check levels when the engine is cold and the car is on a flat surface.
