The 2014 Ram ProMaster uses a Mopar SAE 5w-30, as specified by the manufacturer. The oil capacity of the engine of the truck iS6 quarts or 5.6 liters and is the recommended amount to be used when replacing the oil and oil filter for the service interval of the automobile. Make sure that it is the right type when choosing oil for the car, but also check for the APiApproval seal when choosing oil for the vehicle, as this will let You know that the oil is licensed for use on all Mopar vehicles. When changing the fuel, You can use traditional or synthetic oil, but remember that conventional is not an efficient engine lubricant relative to synthetic, and it will need to be replaced more often.

The 2014 Ram ProMaster 3.6L engine approved oil is MOPAR SAE 5W-20 engine oil approved to Chrysler Material Standard MS-6395 such as Pennzoil, Shell Helix or equivalent is recommended for all operating temperatures. When SAE 5W-20 is not available, MOPAR SAE 5W-30 engine oil approved to Chrysler Material Standard MS-6395 such as Pennzoil, Shell Helix or equivalent may be used. The oil capacity for the 2014 Ram ProMaster is 6 US Quarts (5.6 liters).
