The 2015 Chevrolet Cruze will want to use A5W-30 SAE motor oil. The oil capacity iS4.2 quarts. But be weary of changing the motor oil on Your own. Todays car design and equipment does not make it too easy to change the oil at home and especially the filter. It can be very tricky and might need special tools, which vary from manufacturer to manufacturer. In certain cases, accessing the oil filter may entail removal of other components from the engine bay or sump guard. So unless You are experienced with working on Your car Yourself, its a job best left to the professionals. What You can do easily do at home is top-up various oils and fluids if their level has dropped down.

The best engine oil for the 2015 Chevrolet Cruze is the dexos1 specification or the equivalent to 5W-30. The oil capacity for the 2015 Chevrolet Cruze 2.0L engines is 4.8 US quarts (4.5 liters) and the 1.4L and 1.8L engine oil capacity is 4.2 US quarts (4 liters).

Really ??? Drive up on ramps… 10mm socket catch pan ( take out to auto zone or your local reclamation center ) 25 mm socket or tool for the filter under the rear water housing. Check the color black or brown to know your filter cartridge type needed loads of vids on line to watch.. But… Your overlooking a mayor change needed… Transmission fluid.. Noooo It’s not hard… No pan to drop or filter to change.. A drain plug !!!! GM got it right designing a high reviving motor ( max torque is mid-range and max HP is almost redline) that’s why when you accelerate up hills, reaching 55 + plus speeds it will hold the gears and rev out the motor. I will guarantee the fluid will be burnt. Again a shop will want 100 for 15 min of work…remove a drain plug and add fluid. Nooo. You don’t need to remove the side bolt till fluid comes out. It takes 4 quarts and 9 ounces. No tools needed to add just a funnel
