The 2018 GMC Acadia uses synthetic oil. The 2.5l 4 -cylinder uses sae 5w-20 or 0w-20. The capacity for the FWD model iS5 quarts and the AWD iS6 quarts. The 3.6l v6 engine calls for sae 5w-30 and holdS6 quarts. It is recommended to change Your oil every 7,500 miles or 1 year, whichever comes first. You can extend Your engine life, get better gas mileage, and have better performance if You change Your oil regularly. Routine oil and filter changes help remove particles and sludge from the engine. If the oil isn't changed, Your vehicle's engine will start to have a lot of problems.Over time the oil will become thinner, abrasive, and will start to wear down on vital engine parts.
