The 2018 GMC Acadia will have a towing capacity of 1000 pounds for models with the base 2.5L 4Cylinder engine and 4000 pounds for models equipped with the more powerful 3.6L V6. The tongue weight capacity is going to be 250 pounds for all models no matter what is under the hood. The payload capacity is going to be between 850 and 1050 depending on trim level. The torque output is going to be 188 lb-ft for the base model but it will be a much more impressive 271 lb-ft if You have a model equipped with the V6 engine.
