The Toyota Highlander comes equipped with up to 84.3 cubic feet of cargo space with the rear seats folded down. It's a great crossover vehicle for long or short road trips and a twin mattress is able to fit snugly in the back of one. The extended trunk of the Highlander can accommodate a 38 inch by 75 inches mattress with a little room to spare. The second row seats slide forward when not hauling so third row passengers can easily move in and out and doors open at a 90 degree angle to make exit and entry even easier. In addition the Highlander offerS42 inches of front legroom and 42 and 27.7 inches of second and third row legroom, respectively, and can seat up to 8 persons.

This question comes up more frequently than some folks might expect, and the answer is... Yes! You can, in fact, fit a twin mattress comfortably in the back of your Highlander. Since they're typically 38 inches by 75 inches, it'll fit snugly in the back.
