The 2019 and later models of the Honda HR-V offer a proprietary option for navigation and information technology. The Honda Satellite Linked Navigation System can be used without a cell signal. To activate, press the infotainment screen's "map button" and select the "where to" icon. Use the keyboard to type in a street address and touch "done". The HR-V will display a list of possible destinations. Choose the appropriate address to receive instruction by depressing "go". A map enabled with driving details will appear. If unsure of the exact address, use the screen's categories to discover new restaurants, lodging, entertainment, gas stations and "other places". Sub categories such aS-TYPE or ethnicity of food will appear. This system is also equipped with voice recognition for easier operation.
