You can flat tow a 2019 Chevy Equinox. Making sure Your tires are in the greatest of condition is key to not crashing. You will come into issues with this part at some time or another. Premature tire wear is something You could face. You could run into feathering issues. You could face cupping problems. Make sure to check the tire pressure once a month. Check for holes, in case You run over a nail. The part may become loose at some point. This part will need to be replaced eventually. You should change Your tires every 30,000 to 50,000 miles or so. You don't want to get into any wrecks on the road.

That is not correct for the 2019 model year. The 2018 year did not allow flat towing with the 2.0L engine and the 9-speed transmission but the 2019 model year no longer has that restriction. The 2020 model year is the same as the 2019 model year except the diesel is no longer available. I flat tow a 2020 Equinox Premier AWD with the 2.0L engine and 9-speed transmission.

It is possible to flat tow the 1.5L and 1.6L diesel models of this vehicle but any others will not be able to.
