Yes, starting in 2018 BMW has started offering ventilated seats on the X5 as upgrade option. This upgrade will cost $1500 and will be available as standard on higher end trim levels. These seats will blow air in to the chamber which allows the air to encompass the person who is sitting in it. These are great if You live in a hot climate and are hoping to cool off when getting in Your car. The settings to change the controls for the seats will be located on Your navigation menu in vehicle settings.

That first answer is not quite correct. Ventilated seats in BMW's do not blow air on the person, they actually s**k air - sucking the hot air off the person to cool them. Different from air conditioned seats that other car makers use.

The BMW X5 comes standard with five seats. Options available include authentic leather upholstery, 20-way power-adjustable front seats, ventilating and massaging front seats, heated steering wheel, heated rear seats, heated armrests, and heated and cooled cup holders.
