The 2009 Volvo XC90 does have bluetooth. You will come into issues with the sound. The source could be from the stereo's speakers or a phone that is connected to the vehicle. Whatever the source, You will have to have these issues solved pronto. If the problems are from the stereo's speakers, it could be static sounds, randomly turns off, a loose wire, or a blown fuse. If the problems are coming from the phone, it could be that the software won't update, the device will not sync with the vehicle, the phone's battery is almost dead, or an object is blocking the signal.

The 2009 Volvo XC90Bluetooth capability is available with an add-on accessory offered by Volvo. This is not available standard on either trim level and has to be purchased as an option.
