The 2010 AudiQ5 with the 3.2 L V6 engine uses a timing chain instead of a timing belt. One of the reasons why it might use a chain instead of a belt is because the chain is meant to be able to last for the life of the vehicle. The reason why the chain should last for the life of the vehicle is because it is inside the engine and gets help from engine oil and isn't exposed like the belt which is outside of the engine. If a timing belt is used it should be replaced every 60,000 miles or so. For vehicles with timing chains You only need to inspect it every 150,000 miles or so. When inspecting it You just look at the tension and the sprockets and You can do so by removing the valve cover.

The 2010 Audi Q5 uses a timing chain. Normally, these parts are more durable than a timing belt and require less maintenance.
