The 2014 Toyota Tundra does not come with remote start direct from Toyota at all. If You want to add remote start to Your truck You will need to install third party accessories to get it done. Remote start can be a nice feature to have if You live in a hot or cold climate. It can let You cool down Your vehicle or heat it up so that it is more comfortable to drive. Remote start also has the added benefit of allowing Your vehicle to get up to operating temperature so that it does not cause any excessive wear and tear to Your engine when You are driving.

I have it on my 2014 from the dealer...it came out a month after I bought the car and put it in for me.
