No, the 2016 Ford Focus doesnt have a CVT transmission. The base S trim haS6-speed automatic and 5-speed manual transmission. It will get up to 27 miles per gallon in the city and 40 miles per gallon on the highway. Unfortunately, the 2016 is known to have some transmission issues, like fluid leakage, and dropping into neutral when switching gears, which will cause acceleration issues. Also, some of the 2016 models that were equipped with a 1.0L Fox GTDI engine and 6-speed manual were recalled due to possible clutch fractures that might cause damage to the transmission assembly.

No, the 2016 Ford Focus has a manual transmission or a dual clutch (DCT) auto/manual transmission that comes standard on the Titanium and is an option of the S and SE trims.
