The 2017 Chevy Cruze does come with optional in dash navigation. The navigation system is part of the technology package and it includes both the navigation and an upgraded stereo for the vehicle. Most vehicles now come with a navigation option because the cost of screens and storage have decreased over the years making it more economical to have them in the vehicles. The navigation system in Your Cruze will use GPS antennas to help show where You are in the world and then it can give You turn by turn directions to any destination that You want to go. The upgraded stereo can also give You greater fidelity and louder sound from the music in Your vehicle.
Built in navigation is a useful feature to have if you want to use your phone for something else or, want the added security of knowing your GPS will still work if your phone battery runs out. The Cruze Premier trim has the option to have built in navigation. It is not, however, standard. So, if you are purchasing a used Cruze, make sure the navigation option was included if this is an important feature to you.
