The 2018 AudiQ7 will come will Apple CarPlay only on certain models. The basic trim levels will not come with it but it will be available on the 2.0t premium and 3.0t premium models. If You do not have one of these trim levels and still want access to Apple CarPlay You will have the option of takeng Your vehicle to a dealership to preform a paid update in order to add it to Your entertainment system. You will also have the option of installing for YourseLFA complete after market entertainment system to give You access to Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and many different apps that You wouldn't normally have access to.
