The 2018 Cadillac XT5 will not come standard with a CD player and GM offered no upgrade package or trim level that would add one to this vehicle. If You want to add one to this vehicle it will be possible through aftermarket kits. These will cost a couple hundred dollars and require a bit of electrical knowledge to install. These kits will add a CD player in to the glove box so You'll need to keep that in mind if You use Yours for storage. If You don't want to add one You can put music files on a usb stick and plug it in to Your navigation system.

No, the 2018 Cadillac XT5 does not have a CD player - standard or optional. The optical CD player was removed as an optionfrom the CUE Infotainment System - including the glove box connectivity to the system. There are external third party CD players that can be connected via USB but as far as an installed authorized CD player there's nothing available. Remember always check the impact on your warranty if you install third party equipment.
