Yes the 2018 Hyundai Santa Fe will come standard with access to Apple CarPlay across all trim levels. You do not need an update or an upgrade package in order to access it. Hyundai had started giving updates for older models of their vehicles to use this service but starting in 2018 they really made a push to add it to several new models. These models will be able to use the service by connecting an iOS device through they navigation system. Once they do they'll be able to stream music from their iTunes library, access Apple maps, and many more services they've known to love already on their iOS device.

While several models of Hyundai 2018 vehicle line up come with Apple Carplay, the 2018 Hyundai Santa Fe does not. The 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe with a 7 inch touch screen display, the SE, the SEL, the SEL Plus, the Limited and the Limited 2.0T, all come with Apple CarPlay. The 8 inch touch screen infotainment display comes in the Santa Fe Ultimate and Ultimate 2.0T. They, too, come standard with Apple CarPlay. Every model except the SE also comes with Sirius satellite radio.
