As a standard feature on the trim levels S, SV, SL & Platinum, the 2018 Nissan Pathfinder does comes equipped with remote start. If You are having trouble using it make sure You are within 100 feet of the SUV and press the lock button on the fob to initiate the series. You can then press and hold the circular arrow button on the key fob that almost looks like a "recycle sign" which will start the vehicle. The remote start is great in the winters when it is cold and You need to pre-heat the vehicle and defrost the windows. If You do not have this feature in the vehicle You can get an after-market set up installed for $300 -$500.

Yes, the 2018 Nissan Pathfinder has remote start capability as a standard feature on the S, SV, SL and Platinum trims. The remote start system works with a Nissan Intelligent Key fob. You must be within 100 feet of your Pathfinder and to start the sequence, push the lock button on the fob. Then press and hold the circular arrow button for the count of two. When the car starts, the parking lights come on. The Pathfinder will run for10 minutes, warming up the engine and heating or cooling the interior of the cars.
