As suggested by the factory specifications, the 2019 Volkswagen Golf comes with a timing belt. Volkswagen has now called this part the Camshaft drive belt and it is proposed that the maintenance plan for the belt be tested every 30,000 miles and that the part be replaced every 105,000 miles. The cost of a mechanic's timing belt repair will range from $400 - $500. You will instinctively know if the timing belt fails or You will hear a sharp snap noise and cling because of the loose section of the motor. The vehicle will not be driven and if You need to have the car towed to an auto repair store, that would not be necessary. Some signs to watch out for are hard idling or engine mIS Firing, oil leak at the front of the engine and the control engine light will shine if You find that the timing belt is going bad or tearing.
