As the owner of a Ford Fiesta, you are probably concerned if there are any complaints in regards to the throttle body of your vehicle. These vehicles are known to sometimes suffer an EAC failure. This failure is usually caused by a faulty throttle body, or throttle body sensor. One way you can determine if this is a potential problem with your vehicle is to check out the serial number. If it iS399,999 or below, your throttle body is probably faulty, and can be rebuilt for you.

Model years 2005-2012 ford fiestas, among other models, are known to experience issues related to a defective electronic throttle body, which can cause sudden stalling or engine surging, and in some cases this component may be subject to a manufacturer's extended warranty due to the defect.
