If the Ford Focus has issues with low oil pressure there is one really common cause. A bad bearing in the main and rod, which happens naturally over time, will allow the oil to seep out. This will lead to low oil pressure. If this is not it then You may simply be low on oil, or the oil is old and needs to be changed. Less likely is that there is air in the oil and it is affecting the pressure. In any case, You will need to have this fixed. Low oil pressure can lead to the engine seizing up, which will cost You a lot of money to have fixed if it is even worth fixing to begin with.

One of the more serious problems that can happen with the ford focus's engine is if has low oil pressure which can cause the engine to seize up. Some reasons for oil pressure problems could be that there is no oil in the engine. There could also be a bad oil pump, or air in the oil.
