The Ford Focus isn't really known for having road noise problems so if You're noticing an excessive amount there are a couple of potential things You can look for. When Your front wheel bearings wear down it can lead to loud humming noises inside the cabin. If You notice any steering issues, especially some looseness or vibrations, that could be Your problem. Having the bearings replaced can cost You from $125 to $225 for the parts and labor. Another possibility is a tire issue whether they're under inflated or have just gotten worn down. If the tires are relatively new then check Your tire pressure and if they're low, add some more air and see if it reduces the noise. -

The most common causes of road noise in most models of ford focus vehicles are issues with tire wear, wheel bearings, or a faulty alignment.
