The Volkswagen Golf does have front wheel drive. The power steering fluid needs to be replaced every 75,000 miles. Along with changing fluids, You will hear noises from steering parts. A bad bearing will make a nasty sound. A loose bearing will become irritable to the ear. Having great steering is key for changing lanes and moving about on the road. You will someday come across some issues though. The rack mount could become faulty. Steering fluid may leak at one point. It might turn to one side. The steering wheel might become stuck. The steering pump might become loose and that will be disaster for Your vehicle. The strut bearings could become bad.

The 2018 Volkswagen Golf has a hatchback body style and 1.8 liter engine with all of its trim options. Both the TSI SE and the TSI S, whether its a 6 speed automatic or a 5 speed manual, all come with front wheel drive. Similarly, the Golf TSI SEL, which only comes in automatic, is also front wheel drive. There is one model, the Golf TSI S 4motion, that come in all wheel drive. This is the case whether it is an automatic transmission or a manual.
