The Ford Transit comes equipped with an alarm system. While it is beneficial, and protects You from having Your personal items, or even Your car itself, stolen, it may also be a bit annoying if the alarm is tripped. The alarm can be turned off easily, and it only takes a couple of minutes. First, You will need to get into the driver's side of Your vehicle. Look at the controls on the center console. Press and hold the select or reset button, and count to five. Next, release the button. The alarm sound should have stopped. Check to make sure no trouble lights are on Your dash. The alarm system is now reset.
