Disabling the seat belt chime in the Ford Transit isn't recommended as it is of course a safety feature to prevent possible injury in the event of a crash. If there is a reason You need to turn the system off firSTSet the parking brake and shift the transmission to the Park position prior to starting. Switch the ignition to the ON position without starting the engine. Allow a wait of a t least 60 seconds for the seat belt warning light to go off. Once off, wait at least another 5 seconds. In a span of 30 seconds You must buckle and unbuckle the driver side belt three times in a row. The warning light will turn back on. Buckle and unbuckle the seat belt once more. The warning light will flash this time indicating that the system has been disabled.

In order to turn the seat belt chime off in a ford transit, the engine must first be turned off. Next, the key should be placed into the ignition and turned to the on position. Once this is done, the seat buckle should be inserted and removed three times. To prove this worked, the warning light on the odometer will come on, then turn back off signaling the disablement.
