Disabling the front parking sensors on a Ford Ranger is as simple as pushing the parking sensor button, which can be found to the left of the red hazard warning triangle on Your panel. This should toggle the sensors between different modes, so push it until they turn off. If You wish to turn them on, or set them to a specific mode, simply push the same button until the desired effect is achieved. Typically, You can toggle all sensors to work, but also use only the side, front or rear ones if Youve chosen those upgrades when purchasing Your Ranger. Installing additional sensors, such as front sensors can be somewhat expensive, and typically cost about $450-$500 to install. Though most of that cost goes into labor.
