Resetting the tire pressure monitoring system on a 2008 Dodge Ram 2500 is a simple process that generally doesn't require any tools. However, if the standard resetting method doesn't work for some reason, a TPMS relearn tool may be required. To begin, park the vehicle and allow it to sit a bit. Ideally, You will be using the cold pressure rating. Inflate all of the tires to the recommended pressure posted on the placard. You can find this in the door jamb. Allow the vehicle to sit with the ignition off for at least 20 minutes. Then, drive the truck for at least 10 minutes at speeds above 15 miles per hour. In some cases, this can take up to 35 minutes. When the system receives a new pressure rating from each sensor ID, the TPMS light will turn off. If this doesn't work, You will need to use the relearn tool, starting with the left front tire, followed by the rest of the tires in a clockwise order.

Press and hold the tpms button till the light blinks three times. Turn the engine on and let it run for 20 min. Then drive at 50 mpg or more for about 10 min.
