If Your Chevy Cruze has a light on the dash letting You know that there was an attempted theft then You will need to reset the security system in the car. This can be done very simply with Chevrolet vehicles. All You will need to do is press the unlock button on the key fob and then leave Your door open. With the door open You will need to press the lock button on Your key fob, then close the door. After that You should be able to press the unlock button to get back into the car. Once You are back in You should be able to start the car up as normal.
