To restore the 2002 Lincoln LS anti-theft system, You will start by Pressing and holding any button on Your remote within 20 seconds of the eighth turn. Hold the button for as long as 20 seconds until the locks automatically click and then release. Remove Your key from the ignition to end the resetting process. This can reset the anti-theft system so that it is now available to start the car properly. Often this can be triggered by replacing the battery or by draining the battery from the power supply. This may also be triggered by the pass lock sensor being unreliable, which would cause the anti-system to go off and prevent the car from running. If You have access to an OBD diagnostic kit, You can also use it to reset the anti-theft device.
