Resetting the tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) in a 2017 Ford Explorer is a simple process. You will need to have a TPMS relearn tool. To begin, park the vehicle and turn the ignition to OFF. Press the brake pedal to the floor and then release. Now, turn the key in the ignition to ON, but don't start the engine, and then back to OFF. Do this three times, ending at the ON position. Press the brake pedal to the floor again, and release. Turn the ignition to OFF. Repeat what You did earlier, turning the ignition to ON and then OFF three times. End at the ON position once again. When done properly, You will hear a horn beep twice. At this point, TRAIN LEFT FRONT TIRE should appear in Your display. Go to the left front tire and reset the TPMS sensor with the relearn tool. Move to the right front tire and continue this for the rest of the tires, moving in a clockwise position. Turn the ignition to OFF when You're finished.

To reset the tpms on the 2017 ford explorer make sure the tire pressure is correct, then turn on the vehicle. Now hit the reset button that is to the right of the steering wheel and wait ten minutes. In some cases you may need to hold the button down till the light flashes. If the sensor is not working correctly then you may have tires with incorrect pressure, and the car can get bad performance.
