To reset the oil light on the 2017 Nissan Altima You will first need to park the vehicle in a safe space. Next You will need to turn the vehicle to the on position without starting it, if it has a smart key button, press it twice without pushing down on the brake pedal. On the left side of the steering wheel find the button that looks like two sheets of paper on top of each other and press it until You get to the settings menu. Scroll down to the maintenance menu by using the joystick and press the enter button to select the menu. Scroll down to service menu and then press the enter button. Now You can reset the oil life indicator.

To reset the oil level warning or maintenance light in your 2017 nissan altima vehicle, turn the ignition key to the "on" position and depress the gas pedal slowly three times. Release and start your vehicle and the oil light should indicate a reset.
