First, I'm assuming You've gone ahead a filled up Your 2007 Porsche Cayenne with 8 quarts of 5W-40 oil, as well as changing the oil filter, and just need to have Your vehicle recognize it. The bad news is that You can't do this without specialized equipment. You need to have a DuRametric to reset this if You've changed the oil Yourself, otherwise, You're stuck having to take it into the dealer, and having them do it, charging You between $25-$35, for what just amounts to hooking up a scanner and pushing a button.

To reset the oil level warning or maintenance light in your 2017 porsche cayenne vehicle, turn the ignition key to the "on" position and depress the gas pedal slowly three times. Release and start your vehicle and oil light should indicate a reset.
