There are two ways to reset the anti-theft system on the Toyota Matrix: Using the wireleSSRemote, or using the Matrix's ignition key. Here's how: Press and hold the panic button to shut off the panic alarm. This is the button Your FOB that has a horn with three lines on it. You can press any of the buttons on the remote to turn off the Matrix's horn. Press the unlock button on the remote twice within 3 seconds to unlock the doors, or use the key to manually unlock the door. Turn the ignition on, and the alarm should shut off. Drive as normally. When done, remove the key, and then press the lock button twice when You've left the vehicle. Your Toyota's anti-theft system should now be reset.

To lock all the car doors, push the lock button on the matrix remote twice, or put the key in the driver side door and turn it in the opposite direction to lock the car doors. The headlights will flash a single time to allow you to lock the doors and reset the alarm system.
