If You have tripped the Chevy Cruze's alarm by accident, depress the fob's panic or unlock button, to switch the alarm off. Alternatively, insert the key into the driver's door to unlock and reset the anti-theft system. Most Cruzes can be reset by takeng the key out of the ignition and disconnecting the positive battery cable for 10 minutes. After ten minutes place the key in the ignition and switch to the "on" position. Re-connect the positive battery cable to recalibrate Your vehicle's anti-theft warning. Alternatively, try pressing the panic button for 5 seconds followed by depressing the lock button twice. Walk ten feet away from the car and wait ten minutes before depressing the unlock feature two times. This approach may also reset the anti-theft warning.
