There isn't a way to manually reset this message, as BMW considers it a pretty important thing to tell You. The good news is that there's nothing to really worry about: Your car's just warning You that the battery is getting discharged quicker than it's being charged. The first thing to do to address this is to remove any phone charger or other device from the cigarette outlet and turn off unnecessary accessories, like seat heaters and the radio. You should make sure You leave the engine running until the message disappears, which can take froM5 to 30 minutes. You might see this on cold mornings, especially in northern climates with a lot of freezing weather, but it can also come on juSTStopping at a red light. If You're continuously seeing this, and Your battery is older, it's a possible indication of impeding failure of it, and You should start planning on getting it replaced.

To reset the BMW increased battery discharge message you will have to fix the problem which i usually caused by a poor connection. Check the battery terminals to see if they are tightly connected.
