The purpose of the TPMS on Your Hyundai Elantra is to warn You that one or more tires is under-inflated which could produce premature tire wear, tire failure, and unsafe driving conditions. To perform a reset of the TPMS only takes a few moments. First, turn the ignition to the "ON" position without starting the vehicle. Now, press the "TPMS Reset" button (which is found beneath the steering wheel) until You see the tire pressure light blink three times and then release the button. Start the vehicle and wait for at least 20 minutes for the sensors to refresh. You have completed the procedure and the TPMS has successfully been reset.

Is the reset button under a cover? I cannot seem to locate a reset button on my 2008 Hyundai Elantra.

To reset the tire pressure sensor on the Hyundai Elantra simply hold the reset button down until the TPMS indicator light in the instrument panel blinks slowly 3 three times.
