When the immobilizer is not working in Your 2005 Toyota Corolla the first thing that You should do is try to reset it. Resetting the system is pretty easy and just takes a few minutes to do. You will first need to unlock the vehicle and get into it. After that You can stick Your key into the cylinder. From there You will need to rotate it from the off to on position without starting the car three times. After that watch the immobilizer light on the dash and wait until it turns off. When it is off You can turn the vehicle over and start it and that will have completely reset the immobilizer so You can drive normally again.
