If You want to reset the Mazda3 fuel gage simply press and hold the Select/Reset button on the dashboard instrument panel. The Select Reset button is located between the E on the fuel gage and the odometer. But why exactly is a fuel gage so important. Well without a fuel gauge, You wouldn't know how much fuel You have left in Your tank. This could cause all sorts of problems on the road if You don't carefully remember when You filled up and how many miles You went. Needless to say, being able to determine how much fuel Your car has left is important. Depending on the make and model of Your car and the specific sender that You purchase, costs will run on average between $250 and $800 for a new fuel gage.
